SURVIVAL TECHNIQUE

Building a Shelter

Not surprisingly, hypothermia is the main #1 outdoor camping killer, especially in the cold weather, which states that a preferably well insulated shelter should be very important in a survival situation. To make a simple outdoor shelter find a downed tree resting at an angle, or set a large branch firmly against a tree, and work together to put littler branches around the outer of the branch or downed tree, but only on one side. Then layer leaves and moss across the angles wall and about six to eight inches on the floor to insulate yourself from, the cold ground.
